'member?

Memories, that's what my boy has going through his head these days. I love how he "members" and how he is articulating those memories of his. Most recently we were driving home from school and he said "Mommy, 'member my cousins Jake and Kyle?...I stayed at their house. Mommy and Daddy did not stay." Owen was remembering our past trip to California when he had a special over night stay at Auntie Kim and Uncle Joel, and yes his cousins Jake and Kyle's house too! I agreed with him, that yes I remembered. He was quiet for a bit and then said "I love my cousins" How sweet is this boy? I love that even though we are so far from our family, Owen has very fond and vivid memories with them. Oh, and I love how he says "member?" =)
